This was Subi’s Best of 2019
In reality, the product testing and creation of PPP started a few years before 2019, but our goal of creating a sticky, versatile and discreet pimple patch was the result of working with multiple different manufacturers and reviewing hundreds of prototypes. We think the journey towards the Perfect Pimple Patch was worth it, and hope you do too!
Once we were happy with our final product, we focused on getting our design and printing just right! Here we are comparing the various shades to get our signature holo packaging:
And off we go! Thanks to all of you, we’re finishing 2019 with over 700,000 pimples patched.
In July and August, we visited the USA to meet with several interested buyers and to do market research in person. It was great to get an insight into one of the world’s largest skincare markets. We can’t wait to show our US-based customers what we have in store!!
We had the opportunity to showcase Subi at the Korean Government’s K-Beauty and Global Beauty Trends Expo in October. We met with manufacturers, buyers and journalists, several of whom we have begun working with to bring you even more Subi goodness in 2020.
While the most important yardstick we measure ourselves by is what you all think of our products, we’re always stoked to be featured in the media and reach all new fans. We started the year with a feature in Slim Magazine, Australia’s Body+Soul, and capped off 2019 with our Perfect Pimple Patch featured by a real user in Mamamia and being selected as one of Spa Insider’s Editors’ Pick for December!
In September, we launched on STYLE STORY, Australia’s first and largest K-Beauty platform. We’re always looking to make it easier for you to get your hands on our products, and we’ll be working with SS in 2020 to continue bringing you the best of A-Beauty and K-Beauty.
