Why Use Powder Cleansers?

Why Use Powder Cleansers?

There are facial cleansers made for all sorts of skin types. But how many cleansers can say that they’re great for all skin types?

Powder cleansers can!

Let’s find out why powder cleansers have become the new craze in cleansing.

What are Powder Cleansers?

Powder cleansers are made from finely textured, natural grains like rice bran, corn, oats and the like.  While they might look like baby talcum powder in the container, powder cleansers are very different.

How should you use Powder Cleansers?

The short answer – however you like.

Seriously!

One of the best things about these miracle cleansers is that they’re totally DIY.  Add as little or as much water to a few dashes of powder, depending on whether you’re looking for a gentle exfoliant or a rich, foamy facial cleanse.

OurBrightening Powder Cleanser is made with a low pH level of 5.8-6.8, meaning it won’t strip your skin of oils.

If you’ve got sensitive or acne-prone skin and are concerned about the grainy texture of powder cleansers, don’t worry.  With enough water, powder cleansers lather up within seconds and you’ll be hard pressed to tell the difference between these and your usual liquid cleansers.

As an added bonus – If you’re really squeezed for time and want a speedy glow-up, you can even add a few dashes of water to powder to make a paste that works as a quick 5-minute brightening mask!

With powder cleansers, your ideal cleanse is in your hands.

What else should I know about Powder Cleansers?

The benefits of powder cleansers go beyond the multiple ways you can use them.

One of our favourite benefits of these beauties is how great they are for travel.  Because there’s no water in them, you don’t have to be afraid of leakage nor will you ever have to worry about carry-on liquid limits.

You can also count on powder cleansers to last longer and contain fewer preservatives compared to their liquid counterparts.  A lot of extra chemicals need to go into liquid cleansers for them to keep stable, but you’ll never have to worry about this with powder cleansers.
